EMERGENCY MINOR HOME REPAIR PROGRAM |

PROGRAM INTENT
For the past fifteen years, the Mid-Rio Grande Chapter has been administering a grant from the Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for city of Albuquerque residents. Under terms of this grant, all owner-occupants meeting the established criteria can be provided with emergency repair services at no cost to them. |
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
- Resident inside Albuquerque City Limits
- Proof of home ownership and occupancy
- Proof of income below required maximums
- Six months' checking and/or savings account balance*
- No other resources for repairs

Sewer Line Blockages
Plumbing Repairs
Electrical Repairs
Furnace/Air Conditioner Repairs
Gas Leaks
Inoperable Water Heater
Roof Repairs (Funding Permitting)
Minor Repairs
Preventive Maintenance Smoke Detectors Carbon Monoxide Detectors |
SERVICES NOT COVERED:
Additions or Remodels
Painting - Yard Work
Appliance Repair or Replacement
Screens & Screen Doors
Porches/Garages/Outbuildings
We always repair what can be repaired and make replacements only when necessary. |

| To get your service started, please call 265-8514, extension 33. You will need to have the following information ready: |
- Your name, phone number and address
- The number of people living in your home
- The source and amount of monthly income for all individuals living in your home (documentation is required)
- Proof of home ownership and the value of your property (deed, title and/or real estate contract)
- The nature of the repairs you need to have completed.
